Windows 98 SE/ME

To set a static IP address for your PC:

ìStart network configuration. To do this, select Start – Settings – Control Panel – Network.

ìIn the Network window on the Configuration tab, select the TCP/IP option for your network card. Make sure you select the right TCP/IP entry if there are several in the selection list.

ìClick on Properties.

ìClick on the IP address tab and select the option Set IP address.

ìEnter the IP address for the PC in the IP address field. Please bear in mind the infor- mation on page 100.

ìEnter the subnet mask in the Subnet Mask field.
