Make a New Connection
1.Go to Start Settings Connections. Tap on Modem.
2.In the next screen, tap New Connection…
3.In the next screen, enter the following settings.
1.Enter a name…: Enter a name, such as “My 56K Connection.”
2.Select a modem: Socket 56K Modem or
3.Baud Rate: 57600
If you DO NOT need to enter any IP addresses, tap Next.
If you DO need to enter IP addresses, tap Advanced. Use the TCP/IP and Name Servers screens to enter the necessary IP addresses. Tap ok. In the next screen, tap Next.
