Food code: The nutritional value, energy value and density of 425 foods are set in your diet computer. The chosen food, which has a three-digit number, is entered on the numerical keypad. The respective codes are listed on the enclosed list of foods.

Example: For food no. 4 (bread rolls), the figure 004 must be typed in. The figures 000, as well as 426 to 999, are not valid. If one of these figures is entered by mistake, the figure flashes in the display. It is not possible to recall and display the nutritional values or to transfer data from the scales to a PC.

Individual nutritional values of the food entered can be recalled via the corresponding keys in the function field.

In order to weigh liquids, you first have to switch over to the volume mode via the "Vol" key.

If neither liquid nor bulk goods are to be weighed, 5 dashes will appear in the volume mode. By repeatedly pressing the Vol. key, "ml" can be changed to "floz" or "flozUS".

Weighing, saving and recalling values:

Tare container or base once more. Place or pour in the first food and enter the 3-digit food code.

By pressing the "M+" key, all of the food values will be stored and added up when more food is added.

In order to zero the value of the previously weighed food and weigh other food, the "TARA" key must be pressed for each individual food added.

The corresponding code number of each food should be entered and added to the accumulator by pressing the "M+" key. The "M+" key should be pressed only once with each addition, otherwise the current values are added on again to the accumulator! An "M" in the display indicates that the values are to be found in the accumulator.

If at the end of a chosen period of time you want to know how much and what you have eaten, you can recall the values of the foods weighed and accumulated in each nutritional value mode.
