To recall the nutritional values, first press the corresponding key (the arrow at the upper edge of the display can be used as a check) and then press the "MR" key. For the accumulated totals to be recalled, the display must revert to weighing mode each time.

All values are retained even when the scales are switched off. A flashing "M" in the display indicates that the capacity of the accumulator has been exceeded.

The accumulator is cleared by pressing the "MC" key. The "M" in the display goes out after approximately 3 – 4 seconds.

If new nutritional values are to be entered and accumulated, check first of all that the memory is actually clear (no "M" in the display).

MANUAL INPUT INTO THE ACCUMULATOR

In case you cannot weigh a certain foodstuff but would like it to be included in the accumulator, or if you wish to reduce or increase the accumulated quantity for a food, then proceed in the following manner:

After entering the food code, press the "INP" key and key in the weight via the numerical keypad. If you wish to subtract a certain amount, enter a minus sign. The corrected or additional amount will be transferred to the accumulator by pressing the "M+" key. If nothing is entered within ten seconds, the scales revert to normal weighing mode.

For countries in which the units "lb, oz, floz, flozUS" are used, proceed as follows to enter values by hand:

The flashing "0" indicates the numerical position of the cursor.

Sequence of settings:

"Lb" and "oz" are entered as a figure.

Press the decimal point on the numerical keypad to move the cursor.

Whenever each numeral has been entered, press the decimal point to advance the cursor until the last digit (denominator of a fraction) has been entered (1 lb = 16 oz = 0.454 kg).
