Clearing the Undo/Redo History for the current file

Clearing the current file’s Undo/Redo History frees up disk space by deleting the file’s temporary undo/redo files. However, deleting these temporary files prevents you from undoing changes made to the file since it was last saved (or beyond, if you have the Allow Undo past Save check box enabled on the File tab of the Preferences dialog). To clear the undo/redo history for the current file, go to the Special menu, choose Undo/Redo History, and choose Clear from the submenu.

Note: A file’s undo/redo history is also automatically cleared when you close the file or exit Sound Forge.

Clearing the Undo/Redo History for all open files

Sound Forge also allows you to simultaneously clear the undo/redo history for all open files. Once again, however, you cannot undo any previous changes once these histories are deleted. To clear the undo/redo history for all open files, go to the Special menu, choose Undo/Redo History, and choose Clear All from the submenu.
