Enjoying digital effect during playback

During playback, you can process a scene using the digital effect functions; Still, Flash motion, Luminancekey and Trail. For the features of each function, refer to previous pages.

You can watch the processed picture on a TV or use it for editing on other video equipment. You cannot record on this camcorder during this operation.

(1) During playback, press DIGITAL EFFECT and turn the control dial until the desired digital effect indicator (STILL, FLASH, LUMI. or TRAIL) flashes.

(2) Press the control dial.

The digital effect indicator lights up and the bars appear. In still or luminancekey mode, the picture where you press the control dial is stored in memory as a still picture.

(3) Turn the control dial to adjust the effect.
