Enjoying the Radio

Connect the FM/AM aerials to the subwoofer (page 21) and preset radio stations.

Note

You cannot record FM/AM radio sound using the recorder or connected equipment.

Presetting radio stations

You can preset 20 FM stations, and 10 AM stations. Before tuning, make sure to turn the volume down to minimum.

1 Press "/1 to turn on the system.

2 Press FM/AM repeatedly to select FM or AM.

3 Press and hold m or M until auto scanning starts.

Scanning stops when the system tunes in a station. “TUNED” and “ST” (for stereo programme) appear in the front panel display.

1 Press "/1 to turn on the system.

2 Press FM/AM repeatedly to select FM or AM.

The last received station is tuned in.

3 Press PRESET +/– to select the preset station you want.

4 Press 2 (volume) +/– to adjust the volume.

To turn off the radio

Press "/1 to turn off the system.

To listen to non-preset radio stations

Use manual or automatic tuning in step 3 above.

To tune in a station manually, press m or M.

To start auto tuning, press and hold m or M. You can stop the scanning by pressing x.
