Connecting an AV Amplifier

If you have an AV amplifier (receiver) and would like to enjoy high quality sound, use the supplied HDMI cable. If your HDMI device does not support digital audio signals or has no HDMI input jack, connect using an optical or coaxial digital cable (not supplied). If the amplifier has 2ch audio input jacks (L/R), connect using an audio cable.

If the amplifier has a Dolby Digital decoder, set [Digital Audio Output] in [Audio Settings] accordingly (page 114).
