The MD deck can be connected to PCs with PC LINK capability (such as the VAIO-series of PCs), peripheral devices such as portable CD players, and active speakers. Make sure all devices are turned off before you hook them up.

Connecting the MD deck to a personal computer

Use the PCLK-MN10 PC connecting kit (supplied) to connect the PC to the MD deck through the PC LINK jack on the back of the MD deck. By connecting the MD deck to a PC, you will be able to select and play MD tracks and do various editing operations on the PC screen.
