Auto power-off function
Ifyou do notoperat e the camera for about three minutes, the camera turns off
automaticallyto prevent wearing down the battery pack. Touse the camera again,
push the POWER switch in the arrow direction t o turn on the camera again.
Notes
•Whenusing a CD-R, even if you delete images, the dis cr emaining space does not increase.
•Onlywhen using a CD-RW,the disc remaining space increases after deletingthe last-recorded
imageif the isindicated on the LCD scre enbe fore deleting. If you modify an image, or
openand close the disc cover, willdisappear.
•Whenrecording bright subjects,the color of the L CD screen may change after the AE is
locked.However,this will not affect the recorded image.
•Afteryou change the disc, “REPAIRING DATA”appearson the LCD screenand it may take
about10 minutes to get ready for recording de pending on the disc condition.
•Whenyou press the shutter button fully down at once, the cam era starts recording after the
automaticadjustment is com plete. However,the recording cann ot be carried out while the /
CHGlamp (page 8) is flashing. (During this time, the camerai scharging the flash.)
•Whenthe AE/AF lock indicato r flashes slowly,the sub ject may be hard to focus on because it
istoo dark or no contrast, o rit m ayb e too close to the camera. Release the shutter button, and
focuson it again.
3Pressthe s hutter buttonfully down.
Theshutter clic ks. “RECORDING”appears on the LCD screen, and the image
willbe recorded on the disc. When “RECORDING”disappears fromthe LCD
screen,yo u can start the next recording.
Whiletheimageisbeingrecordedonadisc,theACCESSlamplights.
When this lamp is lit, do not shake or strike the camera. Also, do not
turnt he power off,n ot remove the battery pack/disc, or not open the
disccover. Otherwise, an image data breakdown may occur or the
discm aybecom e unusable.
