When the sound being recorded (e.g., music) is low in volume and the surrounding sound is loud (audience noise, applause, etc.), the “Standard” setting in the “MIC AGC” menu is more suitable.
Note
You cannot set the “MIC AGC” setting if the recorder is set to adjust the recording level manually (while “REC Level” in the menu is set to “Manual”) (page 52).
•When the elapsed recording time exceeds the time interval for Time Mark:
The recorder adds track marks at the point you set the time interval and from that point the recorder adds a track mark whenever the time interval has elapsed.
Example: 8 minutes of recording has been completed when the Time Mark time interval is set to 5 minutes.
