10.1.9 Resetting the KIRK Wireless Server 600v3
Some configuration changes requires a reset in order to take effect. A reset restarts the KIRK
Wireless Server 600v3 software.
You must restart the system after the following procedures:
• configuring
• uploading configuration data
• uploading firmware
• uploading radio files
• uploading boot files
There are three ways of resetting the system:
•“Resetting KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 Immediately” on page 189
•“Resetting KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 When System is Idle” on page 190
•“Resetting in TFTP Mode” on page 191
10.1.9.1 Resetting KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 Immediately
When resetting the KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 immediately, all calls are terminated and the
KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 is reset.
1Under the Administration menu, click Reset, and then click Reset.

2Click OK to reset the system immediately.
Note: When resetting the KIRK Wireless Server 600v3 immediately all calls are terminated.
