Dialing Walkie-Talkie Numbers

Every Walkie-Talkie number has three parts —

An area ID.

A network ID.

A member ID.

An asterisk separates each part (for example: 999*999*9999). When you enter a number containing all three parts, you must separate them with asterisks.

Note: The number of digits in each part of a Walkie-Talkie number may vary. For example, your Walkie-Talkie number may be formatted as 999*999*9999, while another valid number may appear as 555*555555*55.
