Phone Setup Options

Shortcuts using navigation key

Your phone offers you the option of assigning a shortcut key to a favorite or often-used function. Pressing the navigation left, right, up, or down in standby mode will launch your personally designated shortcut.

Toassignyourshortcutkey:

1.Press Menu>Settings>More...>NavigationKeys. (An information window is displayed.)

2.Read the information and press .

3.Select LeftNavigation, RightNavigation, UpNavigation, or DownNavigation and press .

4.Using the navigation key or your keypad, select the desired shortcut and press .

5.Press to return to standby mode.

Your Phone’s Settings

Call Answer Mode

You can determine how to answer incoming calls on your phone, whether only by pressing , by pressing any number key, or simply by opening the phone.

Tosetcallanswermode:

1.Press Menu>Settings>More...>CallSetup>CallAnswer.

2.To select an option, highlight it and press .

FlipOpen/AnyKey to allow an incoming call to be answered by opening the phone or by pressing any key.

TALKOnly to require to be pressed to answer all incoming calls.
