Network Installation
Toperform a network installation of the Netra ft 1800 software, you must ensure the
following:
■Access to a SPARCserver on which the Netra ft 1800 software can be installed. (A
CD-ROM drive is needed for the initial server installation but need not be present
for the network installation.) In the following instructions, this will simply be
referred to as the server.
■That the Netra ft1800 system to be installed is on the same subnet as the server.
In the following instructions, this will be simply referred to as the client.
