4.Set the diag-switch?parameter to true in order to see the diagnostic power-on self-test (POST) messages.

5.Reset the system to activate these parameter changes.

6.Use the show-netscommand to display the list of network devices on the system.

Among the list of devices, you should see the interfaces specific to the Sun PCI- Express Dual Gigabit Ethernet Low-Profile adapter you want to test, as shown in the following example.
