Serial ATA

This setting allows the user to enable or disable the Serial ATA function. The options are Disabled and Enabled.

Native Mode Operation

Select the native mode for ATA. The options are Parallel ATA, Serial ATA, Both and Auto.

Serial ATA (SATA) RAID Enable

Select Enable to enable Serial ATA RAID Functions. (For a Windows OS environ- ment, use the RAID driver if this feature is set to Enabled. If this item is set to Disabled, the item SATA AHCI Enable will be available.) The options are Enabled

and Disabled.

ICH RAID Code Base (Available when SATA RAID is Enabled)

Select Intel to enable Intel's SATA RAID firmware. Select LSI to use LSI's HostRAID firmware. The options are Intel and LSI.

SATA AHCI (Available when SATA RAID is Disabled)

Select Enable to enable the function of Serial ATA Advanced Host Interface. (Use caution when enabling this function. This feature is for advanced programmers only.) The options are Enabled and Disabled.

System Memory

This display informs you how much system memory is recognized as being present in the system.

Extended Memory

This display informs you how much extended memory is recognized as being pres- ent in the system.
