The DVD 1235 Rprovidestwodifferentalgorithmsforup samplingCDaudiosignals:thestandardFIRfilter andthe short FIR filter. During playback you can switch be tween thematanytimeusingthe button.
TheshortFIRfilterproducesamoreaccuratesigna lpacket, andthereforesoundsslightlymoredynamic.
ThestandardFIRfiltersuppressesbackgroundnoise more effectively, and is primarily recommended for vocal and chambermusic.
The DVD 1235 Rthereforeprovidesameansofmatching the system’s reproduction characteristics to the requirements of the recording and your own personal preferences.
