Put your appliance on a dry, flat, stable, heat-resistant secure surface away from the edge.

• Plug the appliance into a mains socket.

IMPORTANT:

Press the stop button immediately to ensure that the appliance does not start a heating cycle without water in the tank or without a cup under the spout

Follow the instructions below on using your appliance and carefully discard the first five measures of boiled water (i.e. the first full tank of water). This will remove any residues that may remain from the manufacturing process.

Using your appliance

1.Press the lid open button H (fig 1)

2.Fill the water tank B with cold tap water either directly from your cold water tap or using a jug filled with fresh cold water from the tap (fig 2).

The water level should be between the min and max markings. You can see the level through the water window.

3.Close the lid with button G.

4.Press the stop button (D). This will make sure that your appliance will not immediately start a heating cycle when you place it onto the power base.

5.Place a suitable cup or container with a tea bag or coffee, sugar, etc. below the dispensing nozzle (C). (fig 3)

6.Select the desired volume of hot water by adjusting the dispensing control knob to the required setting F (fig 4).

For small cups (around 150ml), set the control towards the setting. For large cups (around 250ml), set the control towards the setting.

If you are not sure which setting to use, it’s best to use a lower setting the first time.

7.Press the start button (E). The start button lights up red and your appliance starts to boil. (Fig 5). The selected quantity of hot water will be dispensed into the cup.

8.If, after just having heated up and dispensed water the appliance will not switch back on and heat up again straightaway for the next cup, simply wait for a few seconds before pressing the start button again.
