4.14 LED Module

NOTE: ICs are fragile. Use extreme care not to apply pressure to the ICs along the edges of the LED module.

NOTE: Dispose of used LED panels (fluorescent (FL) tubes) as required by local ordinances or regulations.

NOTE: The LED cable must be carefully peeled away before disconnecting it from the module.

Removing the LED module

Remove the LED module according to the following procedures and Figures 4-24, 4-25.

1. Peel off the two rubber sheets from LED cable.

NOTE: Don’t touch the double tape of rubber sheet surface for keep double tape surface clean and adhesive while remove the rubber sheet from the LED hinge.

2.Disconnect CCD cable from CCD module.

3.Remove one M2.6x6 black flat head screws on each side securing the LED hinge.

4.Carefully tilt the LED module toward you.

5.Remove two M2x2.5 black flat head screws on each securing the LED bracket.

6.Remove the LED brackets.

7.Turn the LED upside down. Be sure to place it on a cushioned surface such as a foam pad.

8.Remove the tape and LED cable connector. Then disconnect the LED cable.
