Playback and recording during dubbing

While copying (High speed dubbing), the disc drives (HDD, DVD) can play or record (not possible while moving a file).

•While dubbing from HDD to DVD, HDD can play or record. DVD cannot.

•While dubbing from DVD to HDD, no other operations are available.

•While dubbing from HDD to HDD, DVD can play or record. HDD cannot.

•While dubbing from HDD to DVD, HDD cannot play and record at the same time.

•While dubbing from HDD to HDD, DVD cannot play and record at the same time.

•Dubbing may be cancelled if the start time of a timer programme recording is reached, as time programme recording has priority over dubbing.

•While the recorder is performing dubbing and recording at the same time, CONTENT MENU cannot be displayed.

On dubbing from a DVD-R (VR mode)

Copy-free contents recorded in a DVD-R (VR mode) can be dubbed to the HDD. However, please note that moving content does not restore the disc space of the DVD-R (VR mode).
