3.Enter the desired number. If necessary, a pause can be entered by pressing and holding 0-9, *, or #until an underscore appears in the

display (telephone interconnect only). The individual call list entries will accept up to 5 digits. The phone call list entries accept a combination of up to 31 digits and pauses.

4.Press and hold M until the display changes indicating that the number has been stored.

5.Repeat the steps above if the number stored in an entry location needs to be changed.

STATUS/MESSAGE OPERATION

Status operation permits the transmission of a pre-programmed status condition to the EDACS site. Message operation permits the transmission of a pre-programmed message text to an EDACS site.

STATUS OPERATION

To send a status condition, press the M key followed by < or > key to select the pre-

programmed status. STATUS and 0 through 9 pre- programmed status selections are available from the menu. If STATUS is selected you need to enter the number of the status message you intend to transmit. If no status has been programmed for the selected number key, the radio will display "NO ENTRY". A valid selection will permit the status text to appear in the display for a pre-programmed time. After the time-out expires or the M key has been
