Create a Bond

You can create a bond between your device and another device that has Bluetooth. Once you do this, Bluetooth doesn't need to be in discoverable mode in order for you to beam information between the two devices; the Bluetooth radio only needs to be turned on.

1.Make sure that the two devices are within 10 meters of one another and that Bluetooth is in discoverable mode on both devices.

2.Tap > Settings > Connections tab.

3.Tap Bluetooth > Bonded Devices tab > New. Your device searches for other Bluetooth devices and displays them in the list.

4.Tap the name of the other device, and then Next.

5.In PIN, enter a PIN of between 1 and 16 characters and tap Next.

6.Enter the same PIN on the other device.

7.If you want, in Name, edit the name of the other device. You may use any name.

8.Tap Finish.
