Quality
You can specify the resolution and quality of the images you capture in the Setup menu.
There are six resolution/quality combinations available:

The higher the resolution and quality, the sharper your images will be, but at the same time the image file size will be larger. Therefore you will be able to store fewer images in memory. 2048 x 1472 is the native resolution of the 3765. An interpolation method is employed to achieve the maximum effective resolution of 5.0M (2496 x 2016).
