Problem Suggestion
Caller ID entries do not
match the numbers I
need to dial.
Although the call log entr ies you receive have 10 digits, (the area code plus the seven -digit
number), in some areas, you may need to dial only the seven digits, or a 1 plus the seven digits,
or a 1 plus the area code plu s the seven digits. You can change the numb er of digits that you
dial from the call log.
While reviewing the call log, press # repeatedly to display these dialing option s for local and
long distance numbers b efore dialing or saving the telephone nu mber.

when I try to use t his
telephone?
The handset may be out of range. Move it c loser to the telephone base.
Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the telephone base. Use a working electrical
outlet that is not controlled by a wa ll switch.
Reset your telephone by unp lugging the power adapter from t he telephone base. Disconn ect
the battery from the cordless handset. Wait for 15 seconds, then plug in the power adapter and
re-install the bat tery. Place the handset in the tel ephone base and allow up to o ne minute for
the handset and telephone ba se to synchronize.
Other electronic pro ducts may prevent your handset and tel ephone base from communicat ing
with each other. Try installing your telephone base as far away from these electronic devices as
possible: wireless routers, radios, radio towers, pager towers, cellular telephones, intercoms, room
monitors, televisions, per sonal computers, kitchen app liances and other cordless telep hones.
