What does this limit ed warranty cover?
The manufacturer of this VTech Produc t warrants to the h older of a valid p roof of purchase (“Consumer” or “ you”) that the Pr oduct and all
accessories prov ided in the sale s package (“Produ ct”) are free fr om defects in mate rial and workmansh ip, pursuant to the following terms
and conditions, whe n installed and used nor mally and in accordanc e with the Product opera ting instructions. T his limited warranty exte nds
only to the Consumer for Pro ducts purchased and us ed in the United States of Amer ica and Canada.
What will VTech do if the Product i s not free f rom defe cts in materials and workmanship during t he limite d warrant y perio d
(“Materially De fective Product” )?
During the limited warr anty period , VTech’s author ized servic e representati ve will rep air or rep lace at V Tech’s option, w ithout charg e, a
Materially Defective Product. If we repair the Product, we may use new or refurbished replacement parts. If we choose to replace the Product,
we may replace i t with a new or refurbished Pro duct of the sa me or similar de sign. We will reta in defective par ts, modules, or equipment.
Repair or replacem ent of the Product, at VTech’s option, is your exc lusive remedy. VTech will return the repaired o r replacement Produ cts
to you in working conditi on. You should expect the repair or r eplacement to take approxi mately 30 days.
How long is the limited w arranty period?
The limited warrant y period for the Pro duct extends for ON E (1) YEAR from the date of pur chase. If VTech repairs or replaces a Materia lly
Defective Product und er the terms of this limited warrant y, this limited warranty also appl ies to repaired or replacement Pr oduct for a period
of either (a) 90 days from t he date the repaired or r eplacement Product i s shipped to you or (b) the time remaining on the o riginal one-year
warranty; whichever is l onger.
What is not covered by thi s limited warranty?
This limited warranty d oes not cover:
1. Product that has bee n subjected to misuse, acci dent, shipping or other phy sical damage, improper insta llation, abnorma l operation or
handling, neglect , inundation, re, water or other li quid intrusion; or
2. Product that has bee n damaged du e to repair, al teration or m odication by anyone other than an autho rized service representative of
VTech; or
3. Product to the ex tent that the problem expe rienced is caused by sign al conditions, networ k reliability, or cable or ant enna systems; or
4. Product to the ex tent that the problem is ca used by use with non-VTech acce ssories; or
5. Product whose warranty/qualit y stickers, product serial number plates or electronic serial numbers have been removed, altered or rendered
illegible; or
6. Product purch ased, used, serviced, or ship ped for repair from outside the United States of Amer ica or Canada, or used for commercial or
institutional purp oses (including but not li mited to Products used for r ental purposes); or
7. Product retur ned without a valid proof of p urchase (see item 2 below); or
