CHAP: Challenge Handshake Authentication

Size

The size of the target (e.g., 4, GB, 1 TB)

 

 

Server Capacity

Displays the total amount of space on your server and how it

 

is distributed (i.e., available server space; used server space).

 

 

 

Create an iSCSI Target

To create an iSCSI Target that can be used in the WD Sentinel DX4000 server:

1.Click Create an iSCSI Target in the ISCSI Tasks pane. The New iSCSI Target window appears.

2.In the Alias field, enter an alias for your target. The alias should be a descriptive name for your target.

3.In the Size field, enter the size of your target, then select the unit of information (e.g. KB, MB, GB, TB) from the pull-down menu.

Note: Available space displays to the right of this field.
