| IP Setup | Allows you specify IP settings for your Rovio and | |

| router. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Automatically | Automatically select an IP address based on the |
|
| from DHCP | router’s DHCP settings. |
|
|
| Select this option if you do not want to specify an IP |
|
|
| address. |
|
|
| NOTE: Selecting this option disables the options |
|
|
| for manually setting Rovio’s IP address (i.e. Rovio IP |
|
|
| address, Subnet mask, Default gateway, and DNS |
|
|
| options). |
|
|
|
|
|
| Manually | Specify an explicit IP address for your Rovio. |
|
|
|
|
| Rovio IP address | Specify an IP address for Rovio. | |
| Subnet mask | Specify a range of addresses to use with Rovio. | |
|
|
| Use 255.255.255.0 if you do not have a specific |
|
|
| subnet mask. |
|
|
| |
| Default gateway | Specify a default network node (gateway) to use with | |
|
|
| Rovio. |
|
|
| The default gateway address should be the IP address |
|
|
| of your router. |
|
|
| |
| DNS | Specify the DNS server. Used to resolve DNS names to | |
|
|
| IP addresses for DNS names. |
|
|
| Refer to your router’s settings for reference. |
|
|
| |
| Update | Save all settings specified on this tab. | |
| Reset | Erase all settings on this tab. | |
