The MS2000 Sine Wave Inverter/Charger Operation Guide contains important
safety instructions.
Before you install and use your MS2000 Sine Wave Inverter/Charger, be sure to
read, understand and save these safety instructions and those in the other product
guides.
Read all instructions and cautionary markings on the inverter/charger, the
batteries and all appropriate sections of this guide.
1. Use of accessories not recommended or sold by Xantrex Technology, Inc.
may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
2. The inverter/charger is designed to be permanently connected to your AC and
DC electrical systems. Xantrex recommends that all wiring be done by a
certified technician or electric ian to ensure adherence to the l ocal and national
electrical codes applicable in your application.
3. To avoid a risk of fire and electric shock, make sure that the existing wiring is
in good condition and that the wire is not undersized. Do not operate the
inverter/charger with damaged or substandard wiring.
4. To reduce risk of damage and injury, charge only rechargeable
lead-acid batteries: flooded, gel, or absorbed glass mat (AGM) types. Other
types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage.
5. Do not operate the inverter/charger if it has received a sharp blow , been
dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way. If the unit is damaged, see the
Warranty and Product Information section in the MS2000 Sine Wave
Inverter/Charger Operation Guide.
6. Do not disassemble the inverter/charger; it does not contain user serviceable
parts. Take it to a qualified service person when service or repair is required.
