SETTING THE SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

Adding a DFA profile

The values you enter for a DFA profile are provided by the vendor of your finishing equipment, except the Set Media Modification (SMM) values for Finishing Functions 1 and 2 (if used). The SMM values are specified in the job by your applications programmer.

To create a new DFA profile:

1.Locate the DFA Profile pull-down menu on the IPS main window (below the Output Configuration pull-down menu).

Note: The DFA Profile menu displays only if you have DFA enabled on your IPS.

2.From the DFA Profile pull-down menu, select any name to use as a base for the new profile. (You will rename the new file, so the existing file you selected to build from will not be changed.)
