Hints

To enter a 1-digit or 2-digit channel number, press the Numeric keypad 0-9on the remote control and then press ENTER to confirm the input number.

Instead of pressing ENTER to tune into the channel immediately, you can wait a few seconds until this unit confirms the entered channel number.

Note

You must proceed to and carry out steps 3 and 4 while the MEMORY indicator is flashing in the front panel display.

3Press PRESET/CH / repeatedly to select a preset channel group and number (A1 to E8) while the MEMORY indicator is flashing.

The preset channel number appears in the front panel display.

Setting the XM Satellite Radio preset channels

You can use this feature to store up to 40 XM Satellite Radio channels (A1 to E8: 8 preset channel numbers in each of the 5 preset channel groups). You can recall any preset channel easily by selecting the preset channel group and number as described in “Preset Search mode” on page 51.

Hint

You can select the preset station group (A to E) by pressing A-E/CAT. / repeatedly.

4Press MEMORY to set the selected XM Satellite Radio channel as a preset channel while the MEMORY indicator is flashing.

A colon (:) appears next to the preset channel number for confirmation, and the MEMORY indicator turns off in the front panel display.

1Search for a channel you want to set as a preset channel by using one of the XM Satellite Radio search modes.

Note
