1Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See
the Quick Start Guide and Section 1.4 on page 37.
2If your ISP gave you Internet connection information, make sure you entered it correctly
in the Network > WAN > Internet Connection screen. These fields are case-sensitive,
so make sure [Caps Lock] is not on.
3If you are trying to access the Internet wirelessly, make sure the wireless settings in the
wireless client are the same as the settings in the AP.
4Disconnect all the cables from your device, and follow the directions in the Quick Start
Guide again.
5If the problem continues, contact your ISP.
VI cannot make Voice over Internet (VoIP) calls through the P-660HWP-Dx.
1Check your connections. Ensure that the LEDs are behaving as expected (see Section 1.4
on page 37).
2Ensure that your VoIP account is correctly configured.
3If you are using Network Address Translation (NAT), make sure that Enable SIP ALG
is activated in the NAT > General screen. See Section 9.3 on page 146.
4Ensure STUN is turned off on your VoIP device.
5If you are using a new VoIP account, contact your Internet Telephony Service Provider
(ITSP) to ensure that it is activated.
VI cannot access the Internet anymore. I had access to the Internet (with the P-
660HWP-Dx), but my Internet connection is not available anymore.
1Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See
the Quick Start Guide and Section 1.4 on page 37.
2Reboot the P-660HWP-Dx.
3Turn the P-660HWP-Dx off and on.
4If the problem continues, contact your ISP.
VThe Internet connection is slow or intermittent.
1There might be a lot of traffic on the network. Look at the LEDs, and check Section 1.4
on page 37. If the P-660HWP-Dx is sending or receiving a lot of information, try closing
some programs that use the Internet, especially peer-to-peer applications.
2Reboot the P-660HWP-Dx.
3Turn the P-660HWP-Dx off and on.
4If the problem continues, contact the network administrator or vendor, or try one of the
advanced suggestions.
