Credit Card

This chapter shows you how to configure secure online credit card service on the VSG.

14.1 Credit Card Overview

Your VSG is integrated with various online secure credit card billing services that allow you to process credit card transactions via the Internet.

Note: You must register with a credit card billing service provider before you can configure the VSG to handle credit card transactions.

14.1.1 How Credit Card Billing Works

The following summarizes the process of a customer paying for a subscriber account with a credit card.

1A customer accesses the subscriber login screen and selects a credit card payment option.

2The customer selects a service type and enters the contact and billing information.

3Customer billing information is processed real-time via the secure online clearing house.

4After the transaction is successful, the VSG provides the username and password information so the customer can log in for Internet access.

14.1.2Configuration Steps

Do the following to provide online credit card billing service.

1Obtain a payment account from Authorize.net, iValidate or WorldPay.

2In the Authentication screen, select Built-in Authentication.

3Click Select option to display the Scenario Guide screen. Select Scenario C and select the Allow Credit Card Payment option.

4Enter your payment account information in the Credit Card screen.

5Configure the subscriber credit card information screen (see Section 15.6 on page 135 for more information).
