Troubleshooting
This chapter covers potential problems and possible remedies. After each problem description, some instructions are provided to help you to diagnose and to solve the problem.
33.1 Using the LEDs to Diagnose Problems
The LEDs are useful aides for finding possible problem causes.
33.1.1 The Power LEDThe LED on the front panel does not light up.

1Check the connections from the VSG to the power source. Make sure you are using the supplied power cord and proper power supply. Refer to the appendix on product specifications.
2Make sure the power source is turned on and that the VSG is receiving sufficient power.
3If these steps fail to correct the problem, contact your local distributor for assistance.
