FUNCIONAMIENTO

ADVERTENCIA:

Debe tenerse un cuidado extremo para asegurarse de manejar la unidad de forma segura al utilizar accesorio de la cuchillas. Lea la información se seguridad para el manejo seguro de la unidad al utilizar accesorio de la cuchillas y consulte las reglas de seguridad e instrucciones que aparecen en el manual del accesorio. El uso inadecuado de una hoja o cualquier archivo adjunto puede causarse lesiones serias.

CONTRAGOLPE DE LA CUCHILLA

Tenga extrema precaución al utilizar un cuchilla aditamento con esta unidad. El contragolpe de la cuchilla es la reacción que puede ocurrir cuando la hoja de corte en su movimiento giratorio toca un objeto que no puede cortar. Este contacto puede causar que la cuchilla se detenga durante un instante, y súbitamente “aviente” la unidad alejándola del objeto que tocó. Esta reacción puede ser de violencia suficiente para causar que el operador pierda el control de la unidad. El contragolpe de la cuchilla puede ocurrir sin ninguna señal previa si la cuchilla se engancha, se traba o se atasca. Esto tiene más probabilidad de ocurrir en áreas donde es difícil ver el material que está cortándose. Para mayor facilidad de corte y seguridad, corte las hierbas de derecha a izquierda con la desbrozadora. En caso de encontrar un objeto inesperado o material leñoso, de esta manera podría reducir el contragolpe de la cuchilla.

ARRANQUE Y APAGADO

Vea las figuras 6 a 8.

Para el arranque debe colocarse la recortadora en una superficie plana y despejada.

Para arrancar con el motor frío:

Presione lentamente 10 veces la bomba de cebado.

NOTA: Luego de la 7ª vez que oprima, se debe ver el combustible en la bomba de cebado. Si esto no sucede, continúe presionando el cebador hasta que vea combustible en la bomba.

Coloque la palanca del anegador en la posición FULL CHOKE (anegación máxima).

Con el gatillo acelerador en ralentí, jale del mango del arrancador enérgicamente hasta que el motor intente arrancar. No tire de la cuerda del arrancador más de cuatro (4) veces.

NOTA: Mantenga completamente oprimido el gatillo.

Coloque la palanca del anegador en la posición HALF CHOKE (anegación media).

Tire del mango del arrancador hasta que empiece a funcionar el motor. No tire del mango del arrancador más de seis (6) veces.

NOTA: Si el motor no arranca, ponga el anegador en “FULL CHOKE” (anegación máxima) y repita los pasos.

Permitaqueelmotorfuncione10segundosydespuésponga lapalancadelanegadorenlaposiciónRUN(funcionamiento).

Para arrancar con el motor caliente:

Presione lentamente 10 veces la bomba de cebado.

Después ponga la palanca del anegador en la posición RUN (funcionamiento).

Tire del mango del arrancador hasta que empiece a funcionar el motor. No oprima el gatillo del acelerador para arrancar el motor caliente.

Para apagar el motor:

Para apagar el motor, coloque el interruptor de STOP en la posición de apagado “”.

Al dar servicio a la unidad, sólo utilice piezas de repuesto idénticas. El empleo de piezas diferentes puede causar un peligro o dañar el producto.

Siempre póngase protección ocular con la marca de cumplimiento de la norma ANSI Z87.1 junto con protección para los oídos. Es posible que se requiera una protección para la cabeza, según el tipo de accesorio o según se describe en el Manual del operador de éste. La inobservancia de esta advertencia puede permitir que los objetos lanzados hacia los ojos y otros provocarle lesiones graves.

ADVERTENCIA:

Antes de inspeccionar, limpiar o dar mantenimiento a la máquina, apague el motor, espere hasta que se detengan todas las piezas en movimiento, desconecte el cable de la bujía y apártelo de la bujía. MANTENIMIENTO GENERAL
