3. Loading Paper

b.Ensure that the paper guides are adjusted to the same size as the paper in the tray.

KEY POINT: Do not load paper above the MAX line.

6. Gently push the tray in until it stops.

Loading paper in tray 5 (Bypass)

If you copy or print to a paper size that is different from the paper loaded in the trays, use Tray 5, the Bypass for your copy or print job.

Use the following procedure for loading paper in Tray 5 (Bypass). 1. Open Tray 5.

NOTE: If necessary, pull out the extension part of the tray.

2.Hold the center of the paper guides and slide to the desired paper size.

3.Load with the side to be copied or printed on facing up, and insert the paper along the guide until it stops.
