Step 5 Remove the SODIMM0:

a.Insert a DIMM removal tool1 between the SODIMM and release latch on each side of SODIMM0.

b.Gently move the tools in an outward direction to open the latches and release the module (see Figure 25).

Caution Some SODIMM sockets use a plastic latch which is enclosed by the metal strain-relief latch. The plastic latch should never be moved past the metal strain-relief latch.

Caution On 4-port OC-3c/STM-1 ISE and 4-port OC-12c/STM-4c ISE line cards, you must restrain SODIMM0 as it is released so it does not hit the daughtercard board.
