BRIM-WT1 SPECIFICATIONS

The T1/FT1 port provides a DSX-1 interface that includes a built in Channel Service Unit/Digital Service Unit (CSU/DSU) for direct connection to a T1 line. This port supports both Full T1 or Fractional T1 using 56 or 64 Kbps timeslots.

WAN Protocols

The BRIM-WT1 supports the following WAN protocols:

•Point to Point Protocol (LCP and BNCP), as defined by RFC1331

•Frame Relay (LMI), as defined by RFC1294

•RFC1406 (DS1 Connection Management)

•RFC1317 (RS232 Like Connection Management)

•RFC1471 draft (PPP Link)

•RFC1474 draft (PPP Bridge)

•RFC1315 (Frame Relay)

LANVIEW Diagnostic LEDs

Cabletron provides a visual diagnostic and monitoring system, called LANVIEW, with the BRIM-WT1. LANVIEW LEDs help you quickly identify Bridge and Link status.
