USING THE LANVIEW LEDS

This chapter describes how to use the LANVIEW LEDs to monitor BRIM status and diagnose BRIM problems.

4.1BRIM-WT1 LEDS

The following LEDs indicate the status of the BRIM-WT1.

STB (Standby)

On - All WAN bridge ports are in the non-forwarding state. Possible causes of this condition are: redundancy detected by Spanning Tree, data link layer down, physical layer down, or port disabled.

Blinking - Some WAN bridge ports are in the forwarding state and some WAN bridge ports are in the non-forwarding state.

Off - All WAN bridge ports are in the forwarding state.

SYN (Synchronous)

On - SYNC port is active.

Off - T1/FT1 port is active.
