Once the status bar has progressed fully from left to right, the firmware loader utility resets the switcher (figure

NIf the firmware loader utility exits before the status bar has progressed completely across the indicator window, try using a control cable with only pins 2, 3, and 5 connected. If necessary, modify the cable by removing pins or cutting wires.
9. When prompted, confirm that the firmware version displayed in the firmware loader is correct. Click OK in the Firmware Update prompt window.
10. Click the Exit button to exit the firmware loader utility.
NThe firmware loader utility increases the serial port’s baud rate to 115,200 to speed up the upload process. Occasionally, the firmware loader may be unable to return the serial port to its earlier baud rate, in which case communications with the switcher may not be possible.
