Quality of Service (QoS)
Quality of Service (QoS) refers to both a network's ability to deliver data with minimum delay, and the net- working methods used to control the use of bandwidth. Without QoS, all traffic date is equally likely to be dropped when the network is congested. This can cause a reduction in network performance and mark the net- work inadequate for

QoS (Quality of Service) is used to decide which devices can get priorities to pass though the Model 2160 once the bandwidth is exhausted or fully saturated.
There are three types of QoS priority modes: Port Based Priority, VLAN Tag Priority and IP DSCP Priority. You can also disable the QoS function.
