Video Media Center - VMC 1000 User Guide

If you do not have a user name and password, please contact your Site Administrator. If you have forgotten your password, and you have the option “Forgotten Password?” link enabled, you can click this link, enter your email address, and a temporary password is e-mailed to you. If this link is not available and your user account is being drawn from an enterprise user database, such as LDAP, and you must follow the instructions provided by your IT department to recover your password.

Logging in as a Site Administrator or Content Owner

Site Administrators and Content Owners can bypass the single Login page for all users and directly log into the Video Media Center Administrative UI by using a URL that has the following convention:

http://server/vmc/broadcast/home/home.jhtml

where:

server is the name of the web server where VMC 1000 is installed.

vmc is the name of the VMC 1000 domain in which your user account resides.

Logging in as a Viewer

Viewer users only have access to the Viewer Portal. The URL for the Viewer

Portal Login page uses the following convention:

http://server/vmc/default.jhtml
