RS-485 Network (A maximum of 32 TCMs can be daisy chained or wired together)
The computer is attached to the first controller, the first controller is attached to the second controller, and so on until the termination point of the network. The Visual Supervisor software provides data collection, diagnostics and configuration functions, as well as the connection point for the LAN.

CS4000 Mini Controller each contains

Pentium Class Computer runningone Tool Control Module (TCM) Windows NT, version 4.0 or above, with an

SDLC card and RS-485 port on each controller.
