ABOUT THIS GUIDE

Congratulations on your purchase of the NP2500 24-Port 10/100 PoE + 2-Port 10/100/1000 WebSMART Switch. This Switch integrates 100Mbps Fast Ethernet and 10Mbps Ethernet network capabilities in a highly flexible package. Since this Switch’s Port-1 to Port-24 are Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports, it will automati- cally detect the presence of IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices and will provide power through these PoE ports. The Switch provides up to 15.4Watts per port and can be connected to WLAN access point, IP phone, video camera, and other PD devices. The Switch will automatically detect the network appliance’s requirements, and the Switch will supply the required power current to each appliance.
