Configuration Using Web-Manager

Encryption Key

Field is enabled when WEP is selected as the Security type. Enter the Encryption Key in hexadecimal value

Advanced Settings

Data Rate

WiPort permits the control of the transmission rate. Select the

 

data rate (in Mbps) from the pull down menu.

 

 

Radio Power

Power management reduces the overall power consumption

Management

of the WiPort unit. Selecting Enable increases the response

 

time.

 

 

OEM Pin Configuration

There are 11 configurable hardware pins on the WiPort unit. For each pin, configure the pin function, communication direction, and its activity level. For more information, see Configurable Pins on page 6-1.

To configure the WiPort’s OEM Configurable Pins:

1.Click Configurable Pins from the main menu to open the Configurable Pins window.

2. Configure or modify the following fields for each pin:

Function

From the pull down menu, select the purpose of the specified

 

pin.

 

 

Active Level

Select the signal active level (Low or High).

 

 

Direction

Select whether the pin inputs or outputs.
