7.2 X-Slot Cards

The Powerware 9315 is factory-installed with an X-Slot communication bay, and is compatible with the following cards:

￿ConnectUPSt-X Web/SNMP Card - provides remote monitoring through a Web browser interface, e-mail, and a network management system using SNMP; connects to a twisted-pair Ethernet (10/100BaseT) network. It has a built-in switching hub that allows three additional network devices to be connected to the network without the requirement of additional network drops. This card is provided as standard equipment with the UPS.

￿Modbus Card - provides direct integration of UPS information (meters and status) to a building management system (BMS) using the Modbus RTU protocol.
