If you select Help from the menu bar, a message from the help screens will be displayed. The type of message displayed depends on the menu that you are viewing. If you are viewing a pop-up screen, click the help link in the pop-up screen to obtain help messages.

This screen provides information about the Router. The following settings are displayed.

 

About

Model Number

Router manufacturer's model number.

Serial Number

Router manufacturer's serial number.

MAC Address

Ethernet MAC (i.e., hardware) Address of the Router.

Software Version

Router application software version number.

Software Model

Router application type.

Description

Description of the Router protocol processing application software.

Boot Loader

Router boot loader version number.

Advanced Home Page

The advanced home page offers the same functionality as the home page but adds the ability to change the connection profile settings defined in the Router.

 

About

Edit

An “Edit” link is added for each connection profile. Selecting this link will

 

pop-up a window that allows the connection profile settings to be changed.

New Connection

The “New Connection” link will pop-up a window to allow the creation of a

 

new connection profile.

This setting enables 0/21 loopback. Westell recommends that you do not

 

change this setting.
