Chapter 5 User Management

The User Page

Allow user to add subscribers to

If this option is checked, a user will be able to add

distribution lists

subscribers to their private distribution lists. Most

non-administrative Broadcast Server users should not

have this privilege assigned to them. Instead, the system

administrator should create distribution lists and share

them among selected users. Users will still be able to create

their own distribution lists but not select individual

subscribers as members of those lists – only other

distribution lists they have access to.

Allow user to upload media

If this option is checked, the user can upload graphics to

private media libraries. By default, this privilege is off.

Alert access

This section allows you to specify the kinds of alerts a user may access and what operations they may carry out on those types of alerts.
