Broadcast Alert Management

Alerts can be created and updated by Broadcast Server users and posted to distribution lists. This section describes alert creation, modification and management.

The Alert List

The alert list page shows the alerts available to the currently logged-in user.

Broadcast Server will display an alert to a user if a) The user is the current owner of the alert, or b) The user can send alerts to a distribution list that the alert has been sent to. (This criterion depends on the Restrict users to view only their alerts setting for a particular user in their user record.)

Note The system administrator has access to all alerts in the system and is not subject to the restrictions imposed on regular Broadcast Server users.
