If you do not want to install ActiveX on the system, you can access the Windows operating system directly using a keyboard, mouse, and monitor connected directly to the nTier700 application server (see Figure 1 on page 31 for the connector locations). Log in using the same user name and password that you use to connect to the BlueScale web interface.

Connect and Log In
Use the following steps to access the Windows desktop.
Note: If you are accessing Windows using a direct connection to the nTier700 application server, skip to Step 3 on page 47 to log in.
1.Log into the BlueScale web interface (see Access the BlueScale Web Interface on page 40).
2.Select General > Windows Desktop. The Windows Desktop screen displays.

Note: If you attempt to connect to the remote desktop using Firefox, you will receive a notification that you must using Internet Explorer.
